Hi! I’m Jeff from Iowa USA. Been browsing for a couple weeks. Recently gotten into cigars and I love being self sufficient so I thought rolling my own would Be fun. I’ll probably start a post somewhere in here about what my first WLT order should have in it. Right now I’m just doing research which is a favorite pastime :)

Welcome! And if research is a favorite pastime for you, you've come to the right place. I've been here for around a month now and I'm still digging through the archives learning new things.

Welcome to the forum. If you read 150 posts a day (100 existing ones, plus about 50 new posts per day), then you can take it all in over a mere 6 months. Ha! Good places to start are the Index of Key Forum Threads and the WLT Wiki (both linked in the menu bar).

It took me a couple weeks just to get the "what's new" number out of the triple digits. :D

I've only tried the Terroso profundo kit so far. That is pretty good if you like stronger full flavored Caribbean style cigars. I'm trying to think of a comercial cigar to compare the flavor with but I'm at a loss. I'm wishing I had bought more than one kit now to mix and play with all the different types. The Terroso Profundo kit is very good by itself, but I can't help thinking something to add just a hint of creaminess to the background would really bring the flavors together. I'm trying to make myself save some until I have some little Dutch leaves to add in.
With shipping the kits still average out under $3 a cigar and they are much better than anything you are typically going to find premade at that price point. Just my two cents:)
