It must be steel wire you are using? I am using alumium wire.
I can't get near the construction sites up here to grab a couple hundred.

rreally though,

just lay them across a '' screen'' not lay them on top of each other, '' individually ''

and they will dry up nicelly and them being so small with not much moisture in the whole '' small leaf '' it will dry '' pretty quicklly ''

i just throw mine on top of my shelf....or anywhere they wont get disturbed,

and in 3 weeks after ive allmost forgot about them,,,, '' THEYRE DRIED ''.

you could lay them on top of your refrigirator,,, the little bit of heat up there, would do it nicelly,

The same way small orientals are strung. The leaf is so light you don't have to string through the stem, you can pierce the lamina in a corner formed by the main rib and a secondary rib, right through the leaf, the vein will keep it from tearing off.

Or stalk cut and hang the upper part of the plant when leaves get to small to want to hang them one at a time.

I string all leaf (including tiny Orientals as well as much larger tip leaf) with 17 gauge aluminum wire, and always pierce the stem. I do not put a point on the wire, but cut it at a right angle. If you string through the lamina, there is a good chance the leaf will rip off the wire or string as the lamina dry.

Look at my grow blog string 3 leaves wrap twice toss them over stick I can fit 150 to 200 on a 8 ft 2x2
I saw that setup Nice Work
My problem is I have no floor space in the garage. I spend more time moving crap around than hanging leaf.
I will break my neck one of these days tripping over something hanging leaf
