how tobacco don't drop at the end of commercial cig tubes

Sorry for my bad english
Does any one know why and or the tobacco on a cig don't fall off the tube and make a mess with commercial cigarette
I imagine it this way
Ther tube are longer, they cut at the wanted size
and the spray something with sometning to fix the tobacco in , with a product like parrafine or what so ever

After manufacturing many trillions of cigarettes, manufacturers have determined fairly accurately how firmly to pack them. Many are manufactured as a long stick, and subsequently cut into multiple cigarettes. Humectants (like glycerin and propylene glycol) reduce water evaporation from the shredded tobacco, to minimize shrinkage.

Using shredded or flaked whole leaf or homegrown, I pack my cigarettes fairly loose and with reasonably dry tobacco. I then tamp the filter on the table two or three times which packs the tobacco into the tube with a nice easy draw. It leaves a space between the tobacco and the end of the tube.



I then give the end a quick twist to hold the tobacco in the tube so it doesn't fall out into the pack or case. It's really quick and just becomes part of the routine.
