Welcome. Lots of good guys on the forum, lots of good advice. I haven`t been to Mozambique for ages, used to go fish with my ski boat at Xai Xai, that was until I flipped the boat. Lovely place.
Where will you plant your tobacco, think Jhb will be more of a challenge than Moz.
We are 4 Saffas on the forum now, You, Maddog, from vanderBijl, Tarrantula dan, also from Jhb and myself Vaalwater- Limpopo prov. Have you planted tobacco before?
In Moz you must let the locals plant for you, especialy the old boys. Lots of them plant their own tobacco.

Hi Ben, thanks for the heads up. I will visit the Moamba area just past ressano Garcia border post and work with them to grow some tobacco. I believe they already grow in that area. do you know where one could get some seed in RSA? I will also be doing business in the Tete area which is a huge tobacco region so will explore that as well when I get there. take care & chat soon. it would be good to get together sometime. let me know if you open to the idea. cheers, joe

Ive got some seeds I can send you. What are you looking for? Suggest not to many varieties to start with. Fl Sumatra-sun grown wrapper/filler, Con Broadleaf-sun grown wrapper/filler and a Vuelta Abago as a filler would be a good call. I will have a look what I have and send you some. Pm me your address.
I don`t go to Jhb often, try to avoid the place. to many cars. Moving to Groblersdal the end of the month, if you even close give me a shout, we can have a drink and a fine home rolled cigar.
