I presently have -18 f. /-28 c. and the wind chill is -32 f. / -36 c. If you piss outside it freezes before it hits the ground. All of my tobacco is freeze dried.

32 F here, If you stair at one spot long enuff you can see a snow flake. Or it could be spots from stairin to long. I have declard it winter storm SnowSpot and I ant goin outside today.

Most of this week has been relatively mild, though wet, here ... this morning the sun finally came out, but it's colder. Right now it's 37 degrees F, with a high of 41 predicted. Tomorrow is supposed to get much colder, and snow is predicted for the afternoon. If we get snow, and if it doesn't melt upon hitting the ground, it will be our first snowfall of the season. I won't mind snow as much as ice, which given a predicted high of 34, is a very real possibility.

The high in these parts this week has been ten degrees F. The low has been minus ten but the average low this week has been about minus five. We live along the salmon river...could cast a line from the back door. Dumb place to have a house... Fortunately in twenty eight years we have not flooded but it has come close a couple times. The winter ice jams though get rather frightening. So far no ice jamming but if the weather remains as it has... things may begin to suck

We only get snow that sticks to the ground once every few years here.
This year, there's 6 inches of snow on the ground right now and the temperature was 19 when I woke up... Wonder what it is now...

Just now read a bit by a weather man at weather.com who said the average temp across the country is 14. That, says he, is colder than any day last winter.
