It looks well made, probably an expensive piece of equipment in it's day. A good cleaning, new belt and some adjustments, it would go another 100 years to the next rebuild.

Yes what a fantastic old looking machine, I love the old stuff. I was looking at the Morphy Richards food slicer and shredder today and was thinking if it would work on a small brick of tobacco there is a vid of it working. me thinking my daughter will be getting one of these for Christmas

I would expect the motor would burn out easy on these machines. I just found this on ebay I am following this with some interest It would shred my whole years grow in a very short time.

I'd snap that up if I was in the UK. .you won't find an industrial shredder that cut .8mm for that cheap. .alot more than £100 worth of work went into making that..

I now know what Love at First site Means. I blew her up on my 50 in. puter and she is sweet. Used and Abused, In pieces, And weighs a ton. I got to have Her.
I Just got to find a spot for her and get him to ship it.

Yes I don't even think you could get away with hiding it in the spare bedroom,and telling the wife that it was for mixing plaster
