lowering case

What is the best way to lower the case of whole leaf so it can be shredded, and the best way to lower case of shredded so it can be rolled in an injecter. I have had such high RH and everything stays in a higher case than I can shred or roll. I put the shredded in a small oven to bring the case down but I am having problems with the whole leaf. Some of the leaf will be damp and some of it will be crisp on the same leaf. How do you do it?

Put it in a plaitic box in the sun. Put the lid on to even out the mouster. Take it off to dry.

I put some leaf in the wife's oven at 120 for 15 minutes, and it came out perfect. The first try dried them out too much, but within an hour on the dining room table that stuff was back in case again.

Black trash bag, damp paper towel and the good ol sun 3 or 4 hrs. Shake after 2 hrs. not befor. Good luck.

Place a paper towel inside the bag of tobacco you want to lower the case. Given some time the paper will absorb the excess moisture and the case of the tobacco is lowered. To increase case, add a cut apple, pear or other type fruit to a bag and allow it to sit for a while.

I use apple in all My tobacco, leaves no tast and works great.

To lower the case, pour a cup of dry, uncooked white rice into a fine mesh or cloth bag. Enclose it with the leaf for a day or two.
