Just got my first order in from WLT, and rolled up my first two cigars!

Even got some bonus samples which is awesome! Any ideas what I should do with it? (Besides smoke it of course!)
So I just took one leaf of each filler and did my estimation of entubado and then tore the bundle in half... Took the midrib out of a binder leaf and did one wrap with each side (two totally bindings) then wrapped with the wrapper, first one seems a little over an inch wide and the second a little under. The first one I couldn't wait so I smoked part of it shortly after. Here is the first one: IMG_20181020_215257.jpg IMG_20181020_215328.jpg
It was almost too big for my cutter. I also realized I wasn't rolling it nearly tight enough after a few puffs. But it did ok with only a little sideburn.

But it was a bit too cold to keep going so even though I don't like to save half a cigar for later, I'm gonna have to get back to it tomorrow in the afternoon.
The second one, improved by my previous testing, I could not be more proud of. I do wish it came out a little more tight but it's way tighter than the first one, and on par with some of the looser commercial cigars I've had. I can't wait to smoke it and see what it's all about!

So for a chaveta I'm using this cheap cleaver I have had lying around forever, I think I might chop the handle off and shape it up like a more traditional one:IMG_20181020_205730.jpg
And here's some of the bonus samples they sent! I'll try to add in names later, I can't remember them all and I have a kitten sleeping on me that I don't wish to disturb....

Thanks for the kind words folks! I'll give that a try Bob, what do you think I should use for the binder and wrapper on it?
