Been watching some American Cooking programs- Diners, drive ins and dives, Food network BBQ challenge- man you Yanks can make nice food, love the brisket and pulled pork smoking. So I was thinking , don`t anybody know a lonely old lady with a lot of money, that wants to sponsor me a ticket, so I can come and sample the American goods. I will mow the lawn, rub her feet etc to pay her back.:eek:
Enjoy the great foods.

Never been to the USA, but would love to go. My sisters son worked in the states for a few years, driving combine harvesters for some big farmer and he said every thing is BIG, I can do BIG, no problem.

Especially in farm Country, everything has to be BIG. Either big barns or big tractors haha

When I was a bush pilot I had a bunch of South African bush pilot friends who used to get together and make an incredible sausage the name of which I can not pronounce. It was enough to make me want to go to south Africa! Then never would give me the recipe for the spice.

Thats good for a Kiwi to know the name of our boerewors. Boerewors is serious business in SA, got big competitions for the best boerewors. I love the stuff, especially when you hang it in the wind to dry like biltong (beef Jerky), on the other hand my wife hates the stuff, but what would a pom know????
