Hi to all from Mangaweka,
Put a post up yesterday and now it's gone, cant put a nail through it on here so it cant run away aye. So hello again and great to be around some fellows who don't, hopefully wont see me as completely insane. And a big Thanx to all that have made this season easier too.
And if anyone can explain why photos in my album dont come up in order that would be awesome. Took some time to get them in order and now they are not.
Cheers, Alan

Grow went well, got some fotos up. Hoping to get the last in before it freezes. Been an awesome summer but a bit dry for some.

Put plastic on the floor, put hay or leaves on the plastic and keep wet. Or get buckets of water and suspend towels out of the buckets so the water can evaporate, creating moisture. Get your leaves lower in the shed, heat rises, also that metal roof is throwing off heat like a furnace. You've worked too hard to let them ruin now. If they dry green that's it, you have mulch for the compost pile. You need to severely slow down the drying out by introducing moisture and reducing heat any way you can. They need to go from green to yellow to brown and then completely dry. If the floor is dirt, keep it soaked. Keep the shed open during the higher humidity times to let moisture in and heat can move out. get the leaves as low as possible. Is there a crawl space under your house where it's cooler and wetter?

Even down here The heat and humidity is too much I have taken to hosing down the concrete floor every morning I for one would be most piS$#ed off it dried green, I have even sprayed the leaf directly not hard out just a light misting to help.

DSC_0461.jpg Im having same heat problems, with the battle trying to stop them drying green,iv been putting them in bigger bunches( usually 6-10 per hand)and keeping them bunched altogether, even gettting bunches of four hands or so and putting plastic bags ova them, but wen doing that,u need to take it off every couple of days to let them breath, separate all the leaves get some air in between for a couple of hours, especially if it rains, otherwise youll get mold,I ended up resorting to bringing it all inside!, cause the shed was getting way to hot, like yours.(ova40c=104f)Im not going to risk wrecking it all, after all that, thats for sure
