Hi all..im in Sth island of New Zealand and have been growing tobacco for a couple of years now..cigarette tobacco here is an exhorbitant price now and i enjoy mine too much to give up just because others want a smoke free country..ill keep smoking in my little zone lol
I use the greenhouse for growing and my garage for hanging and my chicken egg incubator at the bottom of a box for humidity and aging..let u know how this season goes..the only thing iv had no luck in finding is a cutter..buying from overseas and shipping to nz doubles or triples the price of the cutter.

Welcome. You can make a homade cutter with a little help for dirt cheap. Grind the teeth off one side of a mill bastard file and reharden then sharpen. Like a paper cutter keeping flat against cutting surface and bevel the outside. I used mine for 2 years before the powermatic and loaned it out and never got it back.

Welcome to the forum, look for a pasta cutter. If you take it easy, the cutter will last thru a lot of tobacco.

The shredding is about the most difficult part..especially if you don't have a shredding device

Welcome i am in Canada and I here you I bought the powermatic S shredder. What i used before was herb shredder scissors and i bought on eof the cheese hand rotary grater. It worked and the tobacco would not fall out of the tube. I have read from other forums the mailmate paper shredder will work and the angel hair pasta works. The staples mailmate works apparently quite well with tobacco. They have patented v blades but have not personally tried it.
