This forum is great! So much good info and has been a useful resource.

I've probably rolled about 40 or so cigars now and have a pretty solid technique down. Guess it's what you'd call an entubado style but I'd hate to paint it with that fine a brush. Used a few kits and am now looking to grow my own for the first time this year.

Also have a nice humidor setup. Broken wine fridge refitted for my purposes. Here we have liquor stores, well more like liquor warehouses, called Total Wine. They have nice walk in humidors and sell their empty boxes for $1 each so I have a very inexpensive supply for storage and shipping purposes... yes, I'm generous to my friends! Well, I use the salt water/sugar method of humidity regulation and it works flawlessly. A seed tray heating mat regulates the temp and with the whole rig stored in my basement it's almost always a perfect 70/70.

Well, that's all for now. Attaching a few pics.20220113_180218.jpg 20220110_194122.jpg 16431573606492389264100221743257.jpg

Welcome! We have a lot of fun here.

I've heard of the salt method, but not sugar; do tell! :)
Basically it's a solution of around a 1/2 cup of salt, maybe a tablespoon of sugar, place in a mason jar and filled with a cup of water? Then you covet it with tyvek to act as a membrane. I have 4 small ones in my wine fridge and it works like giant boveda packs. Theres a site somewhere with the exact ratios and the ratio of sugar to salt will determine the humidity it wants to maintain
