Nice site! I'm dwelling in Roswell, New Mexico. No I haven't seen any aliens....not from outterspace anyway. Going to get my feet wet here and try growing my own tobacco. I bought some seeds from Victory seed Co. 2 kinds, "TN86" and another "little Dutch" any one knowing the best use of these pleas let me know. I was looking for how to cure tobacco, since I was aware that it was done but couldn't find any info on just how to do it...and I luckly ran into this site! My objective is to make my own rolling tobacco and or cigars. Any pointing me in the right direction will be appreciated.

You're right, GRIN has it classed as a filler. Not sure what I got it confused with. It makes a good wrapper also.

Welcome.

Little Dutch is a wonderful cigar filler. It works well as a cigar wrapper for making narrower ring gauge cigars (under ~45). It is also unique in that it can be used for cigar filler after just color-curing (without kilning or much aging), though it's at its best when kilned.

Made some littler p.a red puros yesterday. They weren't bad..still mild tho. .I still only have bottom leaves colour cured..then I've just been keeping them in case..and putting them on my Lizard tank in bags..it sits about 45-50c (115-123f) constantly. .I don't see the point in using more power when I still only have a small amount to kiln..cure
