Newbie grower here, what should I grow?

I have a few of the more basic types of seeds coming from some new friends, and I was recommended to register here for the advice, and the free seeds.

I am over whelmed with the choices presented though, What do you guys think I should choose for the seeds from here? I am a reasonable green thumb, but I have never grown tobacco before.

It will be for cigars, btw.

Oh! I forgot! I am in northern alabama, and will be usings pots or small raised beds for the first attempt!

I would think cuban strains .since there's still an embargo or is there.i haven't kept up with the news lately.

if you go to the F,T,T, store, you'll see some whole leaf of cigar variety,,,,

if you grow them ,seeds im sure you'll have sucess,,,

i myself am growing cigar baccy's,,,,,,to mix with cigg's,,, most of it im sure i'll end up sending to some cigar tokers on this wecsite,
