Hi, I'm new here. I'm trying to learn how to make snus at home. I'm originally from Hawaii and live in California now. I been dipping/chewing tobacco since high school and I've been doing it daily for the last 40 years. I go through a can of snus every day or two.

I stumbled upon this forum and making my own snus because I can no longer order snus from Sweden thanks to the FDA red list and import ban. I can't afford to buy snus in California, if I could even find it, because of the insane taxes they charge on tobacco products.

I need to start making my own snus and I need to learn fast, because I got two cans of General Loose left. Once I get the hang of it, I suspect I'll be making it till forever. Thanks for the help you guys will be giving me and eventually I will be able to help others after I get some experience. I do make homemade soap, and I can cook, so making snus is just another learning curve I'll have to go through.

Aloha Braddah! I lived up on the 9th island for a while myself. Not sure how much a can of Copenhagen is up there, but here in California it's around 20 bucks a can! I'm really excited to make my first batch and it will save me a ton of money.
