I have been in touch with their compliance dept. and seen it on the foot of an e-mail.

Ya got to love the sexy PC recording you get when phoning the she just hates to put you in touch with a live person....

It was a very clever move of eBay back in the day to buy PayPal.
I've been a business seller using PayPal since 2006 and have never had any real trouble, maybe 2 charge backs in all that time which I've lost. The trouble starts when you merge eBay and PayPal and sell high ticket items like phones or computers then the scammers come flocking.

If that is not a conflict of interest. Some states have stopped them from adding more shops. Who has the money in this industry to fight them. No collision shop owners.

Almost had that problem with a credit card merchant services company. They offered "top of the line" processing equipment for an "affordable payment". I told the sales rep that we did not want another bill and inquired what the cash price for the equipment was; he could not tell me....."nobody does that" he said?

I did my due dilligence homework and found out that the equipment financing company (with their outrageous interest) was wholely owned by the Parent company of the credit card processing people who were promising the lowest possible processing rates.........guess they could not afford to offer low processing rates if they did not make a huge chunk in interest by selling the equipment.

Thanks but no thanks.
