Inianamac, tryed the blend it is very nice, loved it will eventually get some Brazilian leaf and try that out, I really like Dominican and Nicaraguan leaf, the P.A. Binder I use is pretty good. Still blending like a mad scientist to find just the right smoke. My favorite store bought cigar is a Tatuaje brand "cojonuo" 2003 pretty powerful, the wife won't mess with this one, but I prefer I lighter smoke for day to day stogie. Ok I'm rambling thanks again, talk to you soon.

Great!
Glad you liked the blend. I really can't get over how good these taste. Did the wife try the blend also?

Here's the first 2 attempts from my new perfecto mold..I like the challenge of the wrapper shape..still need a bit more perfecting to be perfecto. Lol....these are little dutch..p.a red filler..havana 211 binder and shade grown connecticut 49 wrapper..I haven't tried any of the little dutch yet really it needs a bit more time ..but I don't think I'll be able to wait long before I try them out.

Hey, can you send me a pattern of the wrapper you cut? I'd really appreciate it.

This was in a thread a while back..its a good pattern to go off..it doesn't have to be quite as big with the ones that I've been rolling but the shape is similar..I found when trying to work out the right shape. .its good to try cut shapes out of something else like thin fabric or whatever just till you suss it out properly. .instead of wasting leaf..but if you have plenty it doesn't matter.

Showed wifey Tods cigars and mould a few days ago and when I got home from work tonight I found a mold siting on the bench, she had seen one at a local antique store not knowing what it was so went and got it for me today, I'll post up some picks when I get to trying it out, looks just like Tods. She is a good woman my wife.
