Question is, after a month or so on the cigar does it pull a patch off your delicate habano wrapper.

I found some avery decals about the right size at staples. they are self adhesive.

avery has a free download for design and print software.

That's the prob I've been having.
I think my next step will be paper bands from the printer.
A little cigar glue to fasten the ends.

i never get that close to the nub, so i never considered removal.

i guess a fella could cut a strip of backing paper. maybe just cut them out of the avery sheet with the wax paper, and tear the end of the wax paper off, on the overlap.

i tried cigar glue on plain paper, maybe it was watered down too much, but it let go in a week or so.

good call guys, i'm sure i would have messed up a bunch. that particular few cigars went to a friend at a gathering, so i'm sure they won't last the weekend.

I've just been using a bit of the cigar glue. I bought some Bermocol online and it is sticky, tasteless, colorless and odorless.. The bands stick great that way.

Just got some of Don's Light Fire Cured leaf and rolled some sticks. Some with molds, some without. Each had %15 fire cured, %15 Dominican Ligero and the rest Dominican Seco and Viso filler. Binder was Dominican with a Equadorian Madoro wrapper.

Stick tastes good good but can taste any "smoke" from the fire cured leaf. Anyone have suggestions on fire cured leaf blends? Looking to make some for a few friends who smoke the Drew Estates Kentucky sticks.

Kentucky fire cured is almost always Dark Fire cured. Virginia fire cured is Light Fire cured and San Andres wrapper is also fire cured, but I have no idea what type of wood/fuel it is fired with. San Andres would also be considered a Light Fire cured tobacco.

i got some light fire cured wrapper. smells (strongly) like a campfire. makes a sturdy easy to use wrapper, veins are fairly big it gives a "backwoods" finish. I can't taste the smoke in the smoke (if that makes sense) but it did add a very noticable sweetness to the blend.

Guess I should have ordered the dark fire cured instead. I think I'll try adding more or using it as a binder or maybe wrapper. Funny that I didn't get any flavor reform smoking it when it is a very aromatic leaf.

@BAGraphics I have had a few of the DE Fire Cured sticks. Yes they smell smoky out of the box, but I have to say that did not carry over into the flavor.
Oh, they were tasty sticks, but I cant say what I smelled went over to the flavor.
