Those are some fine looking cigars. Is the chaveta made from some type of saw blade? Nice job.
You roll like AZD? Good job. Harsh is ok. Think of what blends to counter react the harsh and complement the full smoke. Mad-

He rolls probably like I roll, but mine are without the fancy pillow!

Ok, I'll bite. What's a pillow? Is that one of those fancy smancy cigar aficionado terms?![]()
Thanks Knucklehead, with ups and downs, but every time I find a solution to the problems. That's what I like about rolling !!
The wrapper on the left is Pennsylvania Oscuro. It is darker then in the picture. I really like the color, but it is indeed a bit thick to make a nice wrapper.
The 2 on the left have a Criollo 98 wrapper. much better quality.
I just smoked the one on the left. It is a 52 gauge +/- 6 inches long. I never had to relight, tons of smoke ... I think that Penn. leave burns really well.
Sometimes it was a bit harsh most to the end. I had it 4 days in my humidor and I feel it is not long enough.
Next time I'll try to leave them at least 2 weeks.
I spoke to a guy who rolls cigars and he told me a MONTH is the minimum !

Here's the cigar I rolled from my FLAT roller post, it's a Sabroso Medio from a WLT kit. Thought some folks might want to see it wrapped.
