I've owned several corona old boys and they're very pretty, but they always fail quickly. These are what I've gone to lately: at $20 each you can buy two of them for what it costs to send one broke old boy back to corona for repair these days. Great for cigars and cigs too

45 deg butane flame, very durable, and they slam shut like a bank vault door. They've outlasted all my other lighters

Highly recommended

Update: noticed this morning that, although it still worked fine, both the top plate and bottom plate on the one I use the most had become loose. Looked at it closely: there is no top screw like on the corona old boys, but there is a bottom screw. I tightened that carefully with a #0 phillips: back to bank vault door solid again. Suspect the exterior decorative sleeve presses up against the bottom of the top plate to stabilize it against the top fitting stops.

All in all, these really are great: butane, refillable, 45 deg adjustable flame, replaceable flints, integrated and removable tamper/pick, beautiful finish, repairable... what's not to like for 20 bones?
