Pipe mixture

Hi Gang

Ref pipe mixture do you go off a specific recipe or have you tried just random mixtures? I bought some tobacco whole leaf and was gonna mix it with some home grown/finished perique to make it my own.

Cheers Rob

After a year of experimentation, 4 of my regular blends are from @deluxestogie recipes and 2 are ones where I went out on my own.

I concur... I tried a little of each leaf on its own to understand the flavors, burn rate, nicotine (watch out for air cured), and so on. Now I'm trying some of the recipes from Bob's books, as well as free-styling a little and tweaking the recipes to my taste and the ingredients I have on hand. "There is no wrong answer".
