My plants at 6 weeks, Sun grown happy with, a few uneven plants, but they seem to be okay. Shade grown still not happy, they seem to be lacking behind the sun grown, same amount of water, fertilizers ect. think they get to much shade.

The shade grown look good. They are not tall and leggy as if they were reaching for sun. They should take off. Is that 40% shade cloth in full sun?

The roots of the nearby tree may be more of a factor than the shade. In general, the spread of tree roots might be considered a mirror reflection of the spread of the branches.

Very nice looking plants you got going there.
Mine were no where near that size last year at 6 weeks.

Looking good Ben. Even the shade plants have at least doubledin the last two weeks. Hold on to something, because they look ready to take off.

Easy to loose track of how much growth there is, when you see them every day. I remember being sooo excited to find a couple of my plants had a couple leaves over 12" long. Just a few weeks later, i was looking at 12" leaves like they were small.
