You can check the three boxes under messaging. You will only receive e-mail intentionally sent to you by members. You won't receive thread post notifications as long as you delete the old subscriptions and select Do Not Subscribe in Default Thread Subscription.

Another way to help free up some resourses is to delete the pictures from "Reply with Quote". There are some threads where the same pictures are repeated several times by leaving them in when you "Reply With Quote". It also makes reading or rereading the thread a PITA.

I deleted all threads, I kinda felt bad at first but now i'm hunting them down again. No more emails. Knucks when I quote a thread with a pic in it, I backspace the pic and it still comes up, why?
I'm not sure. As long as you delete the picture, or the attach, brackets and numbers, depending on how it pulls up, it shouldn't appear again in your quote.

I finally got it too. The first time I just checked unsubscribe without actually deleting the threads. Got no emails Monday AM.
