process licorice root?

Have a nice day everyone! I accidentally bought dried roots instead of powder! Does anyone know how I can still use them to sweeten things? Boil them or maybe put them in a blender?

I would lightly chop and use in similar weights / proportions

Blend them in to powder and dry. I have licorice root powder I add to some snus recipes.
