Question on A&T Sampler

I'd like to order the American & Turkish sampler, along with samples of latakia and perique. Has anyone done this? If so, what kind of pricing should I expect on these additional samples?

The WLT website lists:

• 1/2 lb. Flue Cured Virginia Lemon Leaf
• 1/2 lb. Flue Cured Virginia Bright Leaf
• 1/2 lb. Flue Cured Virginia Red Leaf
• 1/2 lb. Turkish/Oriental Izmir
• 1/2 lb. Turkish/Oriental Basma
• 1/2 lb. Dark Air Cured
• 1/2 lb. Kentucky Fire Cured
• 1/2 lb. Kentucky Burley Red Tips

in the "SAMPLER of 8 types American and Turkish Tobacco", if that is the item you are asking about. Their site lists Latakia and Perique separately, along with the prices.

Although I have not ordered the "Sampler", I have enjoyed each of the varieties they include in it, as well as their Perique and their Latakia. I would challenge you to find better tobacco anywhere.

I had sent a query, but have not gotten a reply yet. I was hoping someone had made the same purchase, since the entry for the sampler mentioned requesting samples of latakia and perique.

If I remember correctly (and don't hold me to this, it's been years) they didn't charge me for the samples, as they were approximately a half leaf of each. If you plan on using the A&T pack to try your hand at mixing your own pipe blends, I highly recommend going ahead and ordering a 1/2 pound of both the latakia and perique to go with the sampler pack. You'll regret it if you don't. Good luck and have fun!
