Slightly Used Cigar Molds

These are the molds that were listed on ebay a couple weeks ago. Some of them were used, some weren't used at all. About half of them were seasoned with mineral oil, but I seasoned all of them when I got them. There are some cracks in the top half of the molds, but the parts are secure and after seasoning, the cracks seem to have closed a bit. The cracks won't transfer into the pressed cigar and are merely cosmetic.

Sizes available are 48 x 7 1/4", 52 x 7" and 60 x 6 1/4"

They look very good Don, and at that price you couldn't make your own for that.

Minwax Wood Putty does a good job of filling cracks like those shown in the bottom picture.

The 60" X 1 ¼ ", put my name on it!!! I'll pick it up in August! BTW, can the box fit some "fire cured" in it? I need 4 lighters with the Whole Leaf Tobacco logo on them, have some samplers going out to Puff friends that are interested in rolling. I'll put that in the caption box when I order.

Ha ha ha! I got a good belly laugh out of the tripod! Yes, that 60 RG is for summer time in the pool~! I light one in May, and have stays lit through August.

I was planning to send out 4, 5 packs around the beginning of August. I'm just using a blend of an Aleman binder and Wrapper, Flojo Viso, Aleman Liguero, Piloto Cubano, and an Habano under binder (top one Aleman). Don't worry about the tobacco. I have the tobaccos on hand, but need to order some more Habano.

On second thought, maybe I should get a smaller size mold 1st? Either that, or everyone's cigars will stay lit until December.

You're welcome. Also Gdaddy is working on something special that everyone will like, but that's up to him "when" to unveil. I'd do anything I can to help both sites.

As of 10:30 AM Monday, Sept. 8th 2014, all 54 ring gauge molds are gone.

There are several of each of the other three molds left.

Here, I promised I was going to get one, and haven't yet. I usually follow through, but had a setback. Will try to get one or two soon.

I had a guy make me a mold from a block of pine that he cut in half and cut 4 identical grooves into each half. I gave him a robusto size cigar for measurement. He charged me 20 bucks. Of course, I have to put a big stack of books on top of it. Mediocre attempt at best. Better to get the real thing.
