This is my first time growing tobacco. Some of my first harvest is curing really nice yellow but others are having odd dark coloration. I’m not sure what’s different as they’re next to each other, and seemed to be the same. I did grow two types and they got mixed up so perhaps that’s the difference?

Do these look ok?

First ones came out perfect about it seems…

Then this: IMG_4427.jpeg
And then some in second harvest look ok next to others with darker/greying

Welcome to the forum, @Cherokeegrower. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum. Do read through the New Growers' FAQ, linked in the menu bar. You may wish to scan through the topics in our Index of Key Forum Threads, also linked in the menu bar.

Leaf that has dried (i.e. it's dead) with green on the upper surface might be salvaged with direct sun exposure for a day or three. If the upper surface has browned or yellowed, but the undersurface is still greenish, will kiln to a lovely, dark brown. In general, your leaf looks good.

Which varieties did you grow?

Bob
