Since upgrading to the latest Chrome version, I cannot use the space bar under the following circumstances:
When using Quick Reply, and the cursor is positioned right BELOW the quoted text. The spacebar does not work. If you re-position the spacebar above the quoted text, the spacebar will work. To reproduce the issue, you must use Quick Reply.
Also, if you go to Advanced Mode on the reply, the spacebar works. I have verified this on three computers.
It is definitely from the latest Chrome update.
The problem does not exist when using Internet Explorer.

If I move the cursor back in the middle of the text I typed and press space bar, it works. But if the cursor is at the end of the text, it doesn't work. It looks like the editor is trimming the entered text at the end which causes the space bar to appear not to work.

this issue doesn't cause the WYSIWYG to be unusable, it merely causes the space bar not to work unless you press return first and only when quoting and only when using Chrome on Windows.

The issue will probably occur on all platforms supported by Chrome as Google rolls out versions of that software. Different platforms get changes to Chrome on different versions though..
