Hey everyone me and my buddy decided to take this on since we both love cigars. Currently we are sprouting the seeds and I just planted 3 days ago. Yesterday I accidentally added a little bit to much water so that’s why I wiped the water off the hood and have it propped up right now. The hood should have a light fog to it correct me if I’m wrong. Do you guys have any pointers on how it should look and what I should be doing? The coco had a bit of a sour scent this morning which was likely due to the over watering.

Some forum members feel coconut coir holds too much water. You'll need to keep the soil moist (like a damp sponge) not soaked (like a sponge that has not had the excess water squeezed out). The humidity dome will do the heavy lifting of keeping the seeds and sprouts hydrated while the roots work their way down. Once the 1st pair of true leaves form, you can remove the dome.

If any mold, fungi, of algae starts to form; spray with a 1:1 mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and water (1 cup peroxide with 1 cup water). I over watered and had a white fungus begin to grow. I used this mixture after the 1st true leaves had grown out.

Everything looks good. You're in the "hurry up and wait" stage. Tobacco seeds can take as long as 3 weeks to sprout, but fresh seeds take no more than 1 week (usually).

I appreciate it very much today marked 3 days the hole done now looks like a mirror after a hot shower which is what I was told to aim for! Also tonight I caught something pretty cool for only 3 days in! Don’t know if you can see it or not but looks like some germination!
