i had a lot of leaves starting to ripen,,,and with the thread, by '' LEVERHEAD''. i decided to start my kiln early, to do a experiment, with colour curing, using artificially heat, normally i air, colour cure,

my project, soon this thing will be slap full<

later tonight i will be mounting a 4'' fan behind the heat sources to circulate the heat,

the rh is at 40 % steady

right now it sit's in the shade, im thinking of moving it to direct sunlight,

You got a good eye Bob, not much goes unnoticed around here. I would have never caught that but I have been looking for old blinds to pilfer for labeling tabs. Blame indian joe if we end up missing a blind or 2 in the house.

i have some tin- snips, i may try that,

those are tounge depressers,,,,,'' the doctor left me in a unattended room'' and i helped myself to a lot of them,

now that i got the kiln all dialed in, im ready for the crop to ripen,
the 4'' fan didnt work, it moved absolutelly no air,, so a bigger fan i must aqquire<

I've noticed that you're putting your leaves on wire. Next time you load up, could you post a picture of a side view? I'd like to see how many leaves per foot you're putting on. I know you're pretty strapped for time, but I think it would help me.

Aluminum blinds are probably fine, but old plastic mini-blinds shed lead dust.

No need for grand theft medical. Walmart sells those tongue depressors as "jumbo craft sticks," a box of 300 for about $5. (And you wonder why your doctor always tries to gag you with those tongue depressors.)

i gotta get my fan from a friend, to throw the heat amongst the leaves,

it's going good, i turned off one of the heat lamps , and aint using the heater no more,

it was drying them too quick, so im using 125 watt heat lamp, and the crock-pot,

i believe the best way is to just air cure, it,, to the right colour,
but we will see, after this part of it, has accomplished it's purpose,

I'm a little late with this. The yellowing phase, for a Virginia, in flue curing is at 95/105 F and 89% to 94% relative humidity. I'm sorry, I should have looked closer at your gauges before.
