No, the rain went around me. 80% chance and I got the 20% end of it. I guess tomorrow I'll flood the grass with a hose and try to get it pulled up. There's another chance of rain in a few days, but I better not wait on it or hold my breath.
I moved my seed grow out starts to my mobile hot house, I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I think one of the most valuable things about a grow like this will be tasting notes. Describe and compare as many varieties as you can. Maybe invite deluxe bob for a sleepover and sampling party:)

Hate that the rain missed you. I had a little less than an 1". It put off work in the garden a few days.

Most of the time me and Knucks share weather systems.

80% chance of rain yesterday and it missed me. 20% chance today and it's raining this morning. Go figure. I'll be chopping grass after awhile.

I gradually moved my seed starts from the eastern facing covered porch to full sun. This is my mobile hot house. Black truck and camper shell throws off the heat! When it rains, I just shove the starts back under the camper and close the gates. The plants love the heat and humidity. Mobile Hot House.jpg

Just finished planted the Izmir that Brown Thumb was kind enough to donate to the cause. Green Thumb would be a better name, the plants were nice. Full roots and thick stems. The ones on the end were some he had left over from his starts and didn't repot. The roots were grown together but I separated them and planted them bare root. Came out with a nice little patch of Izmir. Thank you Brown Thumb, you are a true gentleman. This end of the rows gets a little more wind, so I laid out the rows so the wind will blow them in line. Like that marker Will COPY that but will leave the bent rows to you :p

Post #494 tells about the industrial marker I'm using. So far it's outlasting the Sharpie by a long way. I've already had to go over the Sharpie labels with the new marker.
