West Coast Pipe Show

While some might think that at my advanced age (turned 65 last month) I might have wandered off forgetting where home was, the reality is that I have been holed up in the Restoration Shop getting ready for the West Coast Pipe Show. I set a goal of having over 60 pipes to take to the Show, and I will hit that goal this week. Every year I try to provide the best quality restored pipes I can, at a price even I could afford. Most of the pipes are well under $100.00, even the hand made and big name offerings. I also try to find something special to take, and this year I fell into something spectacular....a Seven Day Set of Sasieni Family Era 8 Dots, in their original case.
The West Coast Pipe Show is one of the few that allows pipe smoking in the Show venue, and smoking is allowed in many places throughout the Palace Casino.

What a great thing to be doing - restoration of older things, whether pipes or anything else, is a wonderfully satisfying thing to do. All the best of luck with the show. While I am not a pipe smoker, if I lived closer, I would come to the show, just to be able to actually smoke inside a venue. A rare occurrence these days.....
