Sorry folks, I was trying to have it look like the smoke on the horizon from the oil refinery was emanating from my pipe. But now that we can see what's on the ground, it looks like a 48" valve and a pig catcher (it might be a pig launcher-I can't tell the difference) on the left, and another valve and some assorted pipes on the right. In the foreground is a pre-republic Peterson pipe filled with a half-fermented perique experiment using Kumanovo tobacco. The background appears to be filled with stacks of small bore piping, like 8", maybe. This photo was taken 230 miles south-southwest of Mordor.

This is just no end of fun. I had to do a search to learn that Mordor is more than a figment of Tolkien's imagination. Yup. There really is a place in Alberta that proudly calls itself Mordor. (It makes you wonder what other proposed names were declined.)

Mordor, pig catchers, pipes (Peterson et al.) and valves. Yes sir!

Time for a new eye prescription. I missed that little strikeout in my map search for Mordor, Alberta:

It did show a bright red push pin on the map for not Mordor. That was apparently the center of mass of all Alberta.

So not even Alberta is okay with Mordor. Whew!

99,9% are empty in the photos no matter if it's from the bench or in a Cafe, when i put tobacco inside immediately i light the pipe. No photos or kompoloi or cellphone after that point.

This is the today set, sometimes i have no time for a good photo not even for a photo, thus i search in my archives for a good photo of the pipe that i use that moment.
The below pipe is a modified Vauen but each time i can not write the whole modifications because this will make the post long and boring.

That's why i put the photos mainly from the time that i finished the modification,an example:

I think it's better even with the pipe empty of tobacco.
