There is a thread on Black Mammoth in the Tobacco Science sec. Tobacco Photoperiod Sensitivity.
My question was Is White Mammoth in the same catagory as Black Mammoth? I did some research and this is what I found.
Answer; NO It is called Yellow Pryor bright Leaf. 50 -55 days at 4 1/2 ft tall, great for short season grows. Air cure, very little suckering. Makes a fine wrapper, cutter filler and smoker. It came out in1880s. I think I am going to enjoy this one in My grow. Pink to very light pink almost white flowers.
Any more input on this type would be great.

Thanks Knuclehead, The seed I have in the dirt is PI 552336
I don't like the ifs in a plant and You fixed that for Me. The seed was from DGBAMA, but didn't have the PI on it.

I grew White mammoth last year. Give it the right conditions and you'll know why they have 'mammoth' in the name. The one stand alone plant I grew reached 8' Tall (top of flowers) and had leaf 36"+ long 24"+ wide, monsters. the stalk at the base at the end of the season was a good 1 1/2" wide or more.
