I noticed that there seem to be two different types of bags (that I know of) used at WLT. The transparent bag that most things seem to come in and then a heavier type almost translucent bag that, to my knowledge, is used only with the orientals. I was just curious what, if any difference is between the two. Are they both vapor proof? I am curious because I re-use the bags on my home grown.

I believe all the WLT bags are laminated Poly-Nylon, which is vapor proof, and commonly used for vacuum-sealed foods. The translucent ones are likely 5 mil, whereas the transparent ones (identical to what I have purchased in bulk from Uline) are 3 mil.

I still have bunches of the bags I purchased, since I re-use all the bags I receive tobacco in from WLT.
