For nearly two years now, we've been battling a ton of adversity. Within the past 3 weeks, more than half of the business's employees have come down with various illnesses. I have been fighting C19 for 6 weeks now and am on the verge of being hospitalized. There are a lot of stories going around of people being too stubborn to admit defeat and I want to see my grandchildren grow up, so we're all taking a break and hoping for the best. The plan is the resume regular business on Monday, December 27th...God willing and the creek don't rise.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Sorry to hear about your illness.
I'm sure that all will be well after a break. The batteries need recharging from time to time. In the meantime, a very merry Christmas to you and yours, and to all the members of the forum. A pic of our NZ Xmas tree in my yard.

While it might inconvenience some, we we all should empathize, ecspecially those of us whom have been around a while. I look forward to your swift recovery and return. God bless!
My brother was hospitalized for 3 or 4 days with pneumonia resulting from covid. After the first day of treatment he started showing signs of improvement and responded well to treatment. It was still a long road to 100%...he wasnt in too good of shape beforehand though! Dumb stuff we did growin up that adults told is we would regret later...they were right!
