From the only farm I ever get Maduro. Ecuador Maduro. Oops I just noticed the first post has a typo. For whatever reason, they call it Madura in the DR, so the
" Maura" should be Madura...or Maduro.

Maybe I'm wrong. Madura might not be Maduro, but it's still mighty fine wrapper.

Smokin Harley said he would trade one of his tuck cutters he makes for some Ligero on his thread. I have one of his Tuck Cutters, and makes a clean cut! I'm very excited with all the potential combos of all this new tobacco coming in! Spread the word folks!

Brazilian Mata Fina is a great dual purpose leaf, and makes some great snuff/snuss too! At least the kind WLT gets. A Brazilian Mata Fina Puro sells for $25 a stick, as Deluxestogie pointed out in an article over a year ago. The Piloto Cubano varieties are rare and fantastic as well. There are some fantastic threads here on FTT on ALL of these fine tobaccos, so,

Madura is the female version. Maybe they refer to "la capa" which is the wrapper in spanish.

El Tabaco > Maduro
La Capa > Madura

Good to hear Don! I put in a small order because I'm completely out, but I'll spread the word once the tobacco is posted for sale. Any idea when the Mata Fina is due in?
