3d printed mold

Can't wait to try my new mold, one of the pins broke off but that's because I'm using a %25 fill. My first attempt and sample mold , next one will be made beter, not sure how this one will hold up to a press.

This is a flying pig mold.

These printers are getting cheaper all the time and the different materials available has gone way up.

that's pretty cool. Tell me how this works. You have the "printer" so I am assuming you need a software program to make your design?

I'm using my friends printer but yes that's right you install software likeTinkercad on you PC or laptop and you design it, save to a file and load it into the printer.

Once I get this down pat and more mold designs, wondering if there would be a market to sell these.

You need to create the solid in cad and then the printer will print it.

I don't have one there are local people doing it cheap so no need. We had some parts printed in India took 3 weeks and was $50.
I am going to CNC machine it at work for free.
