Waitin on the sun to go behind the trees. Polar vortex has got here an it will be cool when I start cutting down the Virg. gold.

It may just be my eyeballs but that leaf looks really green for cigarette types (aside from Orientals). Letting it yellow more first will give you more nicotine, stronger flavor, thicker, heavier leaf and curing it will be night and day mo' better.

Its a lot more yellow than it looks in the pic. It could have used a week or two but the regrows on them were getting big and Im hopein to have better plants on the 2nd. grow.

I'll take this opportunity to remind any other stalk harvesters out there that an entire, green tobacco plant can weight up to 10 pounds. If you hang 10 plants on a wire or rope, make sure it will hold an extra 100 pounds.
