Boboro, with your back in the shape it is, you can save wood by drying the midribs on propagation mats. It just heats the leaf instead of the whole room, and I didn't notice any rise in my electric bill. An added bonus is the leaf dried flat like they had been ironed. They're also great for their original use under your seedling trays.
