Yes beautifful pictures !
The tobacco one is very appetizing !
The Beauceron have 6 fingers if I am right. My aunt has always dogs, once she had a cross between a beauceron and another race, it was a powerfull dog, but he was also very kind ! He was a good gardian.
I hope you will have a lot of good moments with your new friend "Loustic" :) I am sure he will ease the pain you feel about the loss of your previous dog.
Marie is already happy ;)

Hello China and thank you again for your cavendish method I do not smoke the sheets(leaves) of fig tree, they are there only to give their delicate flavor(perfume) by "perspiration"

Bonjour la Chine et merci encore pour votre méthode cavendish... je ne fume pas les feuilles de figuier, elles ne sont là que pour donner leur parfum délicat... par "transpiration"

Intersting, I always thought it was grape leaves :)
Wikipedia tells me that it was initially a fig leave, which became a grape leave.

That is an impressive plant. If you are running out of time, because of the weather, you might consider stalk-harvesting. Even the top leaves seem mostly mature, though not the ripeness I would expect for harvesting a flue-cure variety.

Sorry Bob, cure as a burley ?
Yes. Unless you have a flue-cure chamber. I cure many varieties on the stalk, if the top leaves have mostly matured at the time the bottom leaf is ready to harvest. Curing on the stalk will slow the leaf drying, which may be helpful at this time of year.
