I will start full flat of the silk leaf I started on the 21st. I think thats to early but I like the way they look. I dont like to put nutin in the ground till the end of april or 1st of May. Last year was unseasonably warm in the spring. I dont think that will happen this year but if it does Ill be ready to put 50 in the ground.I have a lot of 2 gal. buckets that I can put over them if I have to. I do this mainly for wind and rain storms. If you know a cat lady she mite have some of thise buckets. You need to put a rock on top of them.Gettin back to seedlings. I dont have room for a lot of flats under the lites. When you have to put plants in cups it takes a lot of room if you have 200 hundred cups you need a green house. The best cups are the 12 or 14 oz. They will fall like dominoes. get some 24 can beer boxes (coke boxes will work) double them up and cut " X "s in them to push the cups in. this will be messy when you water but you can move them in and outside easyly. Keep a few cups of each variety to replace the ones that will die.

Does it have it's own motor and pump or does it run off a tractor's hydraulics? We built one on wheels that would run off the tractor hydraulics and we'd just haul it to wherever we were cutting wood behind the tractor.

About the back or the rash? You need to get your back seen to before all the bending over work starts. I have to see one about a dang kidney infection that's had me really run down feeling. I need to get straightened out so I'll feel like working. I hate going to doctors.

The backache is just musales and will be ok in a few days. The sun allergy wont go away and benadrill helps but who wants to tack that crap all summer. Ive heard a stroid shot will clear it up. I think it may end my NASCAR hopes for this seson.

A few problems with startin this year. The jar thing just didnt work for me.Lick the finger pick up a couple seeds drop them in the hole. Seedman seeds had very low gearminaton rate. This is my 4th. year to use them and 1st.with any problems. Others had that problem so I will not use them next year.My saved seed had good germination. Some from 2010. I know I will have plants but dont know what they will be this yearseedlings 004.JPGseedlings 005.JPGseedlings 006.JPG
