Boboro, how are you getting your stems to dry? Down here in southwest Mississippi the RH has been so high I can get the leaf to yellow and turn brown but I can not get the stem to dry. I am air drying in my garage.

If thar compleaty yellow you can put them in a car parked in the sun.

This is a good idea, Boboro. I'm going to move mine to the truck cab tomorrow. It probably gets close to 100 degrees in there during the day. Will make the job go a lot faster.

Make sure it gets full sun all day. It should get at least 110deg. It kills dogs and kids. Never try to dry them like that.

I imagine those stairs are getting pretty rough by now? I have to kneel on the gunnels of my boat, to get to all my air cured varieties.

I put seedling in peat cups with Miraciegro pottin soil it has slow release fetalizer in it.I had It damp with waterand Superthrive. The seedlings in the jar looked better. The ones in the paper towel were stuck to it and had to be teased off. I have 5 from the jar and 5 from the paper towel.

What do you think about running some flue around through a box from your fire for a flue cure chamber bo?if you there mostthe time it wouldn't be too hard to maintain. .

My shed has thin plaitic walls that don't hold heat well. The firebox is small and the flue pipes clog up easily so I have to keek them strate. Im lookin at a big wood heater but to flue cure would take a lot of wood and time.

Your suggestion of putting the leaf in my truck cab to dry midribs is working out real good for me. I have the leaf in bud bags so the heat can circulate through.

It can get over 140 deg F in the cab here in south texas. Maybe that is why the batch I cured in there is the wierdest flavor and smell of all I cured this year.

I know that feeling all too well. Unfortunately mine backs up into my office area, lowest point the Damm tenants are upstairs plugging it up again. Foggy widows on the office when I pull into my parking spot, Do not make for a good day.
