I put my tobacco in 1l mason jars and jars into Makita heat box that can hold temperature 55 degrees celsius.

My experience is that maintaining humidity is much easier with jars.
The smell of fermenting tobacco is so strong that the box smells of tobacco for weeks even I have used mason jars.
