Nice concept, I'd like to get hold of those seeds. Meanwhile I'm mixing 60-70% Aztec with 40-30% Virginia. The result is I only smoke 12 cigs a day (last month average) instead of 30 of the crap I used to smoke. The nasty morning cough is gone too. The advantage of growing Aztec.
exactly why I'm trying to cultivate some

Please research and consider the harmala alkaloids that N. Rustica has.
Harmala alkaloids? This is something I wasn't aware of as being a component of N. rustica and I never would have guessed. I used to know more about harmala alkaloids but really don't remember much anymore as I haven't given it much thought in the past 20 years or so. Anyone taking an SSRI might want to give this some thought before just smoking lots of N. rustica.
Oh well, I suppose here I go down the internet rabbit hole.

I did have a look, thanks for the info. Trace levels, really nothing to worry about compared to all the tar that ends up in your lungs when you smoke.

Aztec Wild gives me the nicotine level (addictive but not harmless otherwise) and the harshness I like that I can control by mixing it with N. tabacum.

@JungleGhost just grow N. rustica & N. tabacum separately and then mix them.

Harmine and harmaline being psychoactive components, why would you compare them to tar?
