Black Patch Cigar Co. has announced the release of two new cigars, Kenbano Oro and Kenbano Platino.
Kenbano is the US Trademarked name for the propagated seed Corojo in Kentucky soil. Anyone who makes a living at farming knows that success in a harvest is a blessing. Being proud of understanding the soil characteristics and matrix to replicate optimum growing conditions for any particular varietal is just one of countless challenges to reap a success. I never made any "wild claims" for my results.

I was thinking something like this , I buy tobacco from the US for 200 $ for 5 pounds inclusive shipping. The package comes over here where it gets stuck with customs and they want 536 $ for importfee , tax and VAT.
That makes it a grand total of 736 $ , if I buy General snus in Swedish money 7756 which is 693 $
It's almost the same cost and it is much more exciting to order tobacco from the US than buying General snus which is just crap.
It's very hard to imagine passing through customs without any notice
I can have 120 cans of General snus for 7560 in swedish money and 675 dollars in US money.
It makes it to a total of 5.63 $ a can or 63 kronor in Swedish money.
It's damned expensive but I think if I don't get my snus I'll die.

The process of making 13 Ibs of Dark Air Cured tobacco to snus has now been terminated , it looks and feels like its going to be a winner.
Think I'll try it out tomorrow.

It is going to be a relief to get away from the crappy General Snus and try this Dark Air Cured tobacco instead.

The snus was pretty much alright but I think it has to rest for some 2 weeks to mature.
It had a brownish color in the picture but in reality it was black.
I expect it to last for 3-4 months and I had 3.5 oz sodium carbonate in the batch which I added after the heating process.
It was a whole lot of work to grind the tobacco but it was well worth it.

I worry about finding a place to grow tobacco next year , I might have found a place which is quite far away from home , 6-8 miles to be precisly.
Its just a question of daring , there is a creek just 100 feet away.
