Thank you very much Bob and BT , I didn't know I had that much in me ........
When thinking back to 2012 when I started growing and last year's grow it's not without doubt that one has had many journeys to remember on the way , no doubt.
Bob wrote about journeys in his growlog a while ago ( #453 ) and I agree with him very much on that.
By the way , The Homesman was very good movie , one of the best I've seen this year.

Very good grow this year and blog also. Many new recipes for food and soil. Keep up the good work. Your soil is ready for next grow. I will wait few days more to pull the last plants. I hope for few sunny days.

Thank you soo very much rainmax , I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to you.
I will certainly do everything in my powers to keep up the work I'm doing.
Might have a surprise for you til' next years grow if I'm lucky.......:)
From what recall you were not not too blessed by the fortune of having a nice summer this year in Slovenia , hope it turns out better for you next year.
When we up here had 30 + C and a hot and humid summer you had rain down in your area , but one can never be sure what's going to be.

Thank you very much Cigar !
Next year will be a year of tabacums for me , this years grow went beyond my wildest imagination , despite the setback around easter and attacks from snails + slugs.

It's a white-stem burley. They should color-cure easily on the stalk, but give them a month or two beyond that, before you grind them up.

White-stem burleys are notorious for being sickly and runted early on. Then they take off.

Yeah they sure did color-cure very easy Bob , these are the one's I had hangin up on that rail above the beautyparlor earlier this late summer.......almost got a black eye later on for hangin them just there :D
Gave me a bit more than 1 kilo of flour and is now made into snus that is soo good I find it hard to find words for it.
So easy to work with.
Topnotch.
Mintcondition.
Flawless.

I could never imagine myself that these stunted Burleyplants was so rich in flavor like they are , I'm almost shocked by how rich in taste they really are.
Don't know what sort/type of Burley they are , got seeds from Spain I guess it is : http://www.spicegarden.eu/epages/62431129.sf/es_ES/?ObjectID=8841552&ViewAction=ViewProduct
Onsite they say it has a taste of chocolate and cocos , whatever it is I'd say its horrendously good. :D

I get White stem Burley from Spanish member. Baldio Vera is the name of that strain. I was also impressed how good tobacco can taste. I have some seeds and next year will be on my grow list.

Yeah I know AZD :D how am I gonna pull this off ?
Seems like I jumped to conclusions about that Burley , I got them from a friend of mine living in the same county and I just reckoned that this here Burley I did like very much was from seeds that I handed him.
But it aint , he bought 3 different sorts of Burley by himself at a tobacco seed store online : TN 86 , TN 90 and one other Burley variety he could not remember the name of.
And he suspects that this is the one he gave to me , he was going to look in to it ahead , take some pics and compare and so on.

Here is the one from Spain which I thought it was ( no recemblance to my stunted plant )

The one I was growing has more pointy leaves and is darker in comparison to the one from Spain

Was out to the growingarea and sort of tidied up after using a forestglade for a curingspot earlier this summer/fall , even did a bit of work on our wastearea we have as a sort of contribution to the association.

This years season is definitely over for my account now , grinded the last leaves today for quite some time this afternoon.
I've added up the empty bags I've weighed the tobacco in and came up to a grand total of a bit more than 11 kilos of flour.
Have only made 1 batch ( 1 kilo dryweight ) of snus from a variety of 7 different Rusticas I've grown in 2014 and it does need time to develop in the fridge and perhaps soon I could even enjoy it.
What is pretty striking to me is that I only came up with 55 or at the most 60 plants and they yielded 11 kilos of tobaccoflour , about 200 grams/plant , pretty amazing I think.
Thinking a hole lot about how to go about next years grow and have some difficulties to make up my mind but one is for sure , I'll only grow tabacums in 2015 and Black Mammoth keeps coming back as a sort of favorite variety.

Sort of empty in the ceiling now , just stems hangin from the wires remain.

Last night we set our clocks/watches back 1 hour and are now in the so called wintertime.
No winter down here where I live , but its starting to look like winter in the northern regions , not so cold but a bit of snow.
Brighter mornings and darker evenings , now its almost pitch black by 5 pm.
