Hey knucks, not that it's a bad thing but I think Don will need a whole separate server just for your grow blog![]()

You're a courageous soul, Knucks. The first year is always an eye opener. You've taken on a major challenge, and still hanging in there. So, poopoo happens. (I don't think you've used that word yet.) You will certainly end up with some leaf to be proud of.

My late started VA is doing well. I hope your grow out patch does as good. As always if you need a hand let me know and I will help if I can. Siding about done on the house (between rainstorms) but still have firewood to cut and may need a hand with harvest myself in a few weeks or so.
I had very few aphids on plants in the full sun but the ones in partial shade were terrorized with em........ And again the cut stalks in the grow bags which are slated for destruction this week have all sprouted out and growing like hell... And not an aphid............. Weird.
I hate all yall Alb. and Ga. folks got all that rain. Next year yall know all the bad things that happen to bacca plants. Hang In thir. What dont kill ya will make ya stronger.
