Welcome to the forum. This is a fairly old thread. Feel free to introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum.

It's getting kind of late into the season to begin germination. From germination to transplant will need about 6 to 8 weeks, then a minimum of a couple of months to start producing leaf.

I did the intro. ( had to find it lol).
I tried to germinate on dirt for 3 weeks before I decided I needed a better way. So I ran a little 5' greenhouse up to 80 F. Then put a heat lamp over a tray of papertowels and layer seeds on top. I have around 100 seedlings. Is that enough? I use a standard can a day. And I'm having to use fresh- not aged.
