thrips control?

am I imagining things, or did someone last year tell me something about a way to control thrips? I tried skimming over my grow blog from last year but couldn't find anything. the little bastards have taken up shop in the flowers and capsules of my rusticas. they are actually munching on the capsules and causing tissue damage, although I do not yet know if this is impacting the seed setting...

There're chemical solutions but I guess you're looking for something more natural. Treating them like aphids may be helpful, soap spray. One tablespoon of soap to one gallon water. Actually, the chemicals are same for both aphids and thrips so soap spray may be helpful but I'm not sure.
